KIN Launches Impact Circle on Advancing Mental Health Solutions through Technology

3/20/2024

The Advancing Mental Health Solutions through Technology Circle will explore how collaborative efforts between leaders in mental health and technology can accelerate the development and dissemination of technology-driven solutions to bridge the gap in youth mental health services.

Inspired and championed by Tana Clarke, Ph.D, the Co-Founder, CEO and Clinical Psychologist at Waypoint Wellness Center, the goal of the Circle is to ensure that more individuals have access to vital treatment tools and support.

The Circle recognizes the pressing need for accessible and consistent youth mental health services in the United States, particularly in underserved and under-resourced communities. In addition, the gap between demand for youth mental health care and accessible mental health clinicians is ever-widening and causing burnout among mental health workers.

The KIN Circle is starting at a time when both patients and providers need hope, advancements in AI technology to expand access to mental health resources, ease clinician burnout with supplemental therapeutic supports, and bring together ideas and information to address the growing number of youth with little or no access to traditional mental health care.
